兰州大学材料科学与工程学科学术带头人，兰州大学纳米科学与技术研究所所长，教育部长江学者特聘教授，国家优秀青年科学基金获得者，科技部中青年科技创新领军人才，霍英东教育基金获得者，教育部新世纪优秀人才，甘肃省“五四青年奖章”获得者。担任中国青年科技工作者协会(青科协)第五届理事会常务理事、青科协材料专委会副秘书长、中国材料研究学会理事、中国材料研究学会青年工作委员会理事、中国材料研究学会环境材料分会理事、中国金属学会材料科学分会理事、全国半导体材料与设备标准化技术委员会微光刻分委会委员、兰州大学校学术委员会委员、中国工程物理研究院国家能源新材料技术研发中心学术委员会委员、兰州理工大学有色金属先进加工与再利用国家重点实验室学术委员会委员、科技部重点研发计划评审专家 2008 年3月至目前，兰州大学物理学院，教授(2014年晋升为二级教授)，博士生导师 2007 年4 月至2009 年9 月：美国佐治亚理工学院先后做访问学者、博士后 2004 年7 月至2008年3月：兰州大学物理学院，讲师 1999 年9 月至2004 年6 月：兰州大学物理学院，材料物理与化学专业，博士 1995 年9 月至1999 年7 月：兰州大学材料科学系，材料物理专业，学士

纳米能源技术：纳米发电机、太阳能电池、热电技术、清洁能源技术(光、电催化）功能纳米器件：光电传感器、压力传感器、振动传感器、气体传感器、生物传感器等；超级电容器储能器件自驱动纳米系统新型材料合成与物性研究
