研究领域

长期从事细胞应激(化学物、热应激、营养物质缺乏等)时mRNA翻译的分子调控机制及生物学意义研究。 主要发现包括: 1)建立了评价蛋白质翻译起始效率的方法,并系统研究营养物质缺乏时翻译起始改变; 2)发现翻译起始后核糖体在mRNA上存在停留,该事件是应激时细胞调节蛋白质翻译延伸过程的重要机制; 3)鉴定卵泡抑素为一核仁蛋白,并发现该蛋白在细胞应激时通过抑制核糖体生成而抑制蛋白质翻译。
