1982年毕业于北京清华大学土木与环境工程系，获得学士学位
1984年毕业于北京清华大学土木与环境工程系，获得硕士学位
1988年获得中英友好奖学金的资助，赴英国水研究中心做访问学者
1997年获得中国出国留学基金委员会的资助，赴德国斯图加特大学做高级访问学者
