Dr. Kaiser is a professor of medicine and division head of Endocrinology & Metabolism. She is a member of numerous Canadian and American medical societies and has been a longstanding member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the Osteoporosis Society of Canada. She is an accomplished researcher with more than 60 published articles to her credit. Dr. Kaiser has refereed for more than 15 journals.

Dr. Stephanie Kaiser’s primary research interest is in the diagnosis, treatment and management of osteoporosis and other metabolic bone disorders. She has a number of osteoporosis-related studies and clinical trials underway and is the Halifax co-director of the Canadian Multicentre Osteoporosis Study. Dr. Kaiser is also participating in clinical trials related to hypoparathyroidism, diabetes and hyperlipidemia.
