个人简介

Dr. Neda Nazemifard joined the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta in January 2011 as an Assistant Professor. She is the principal investigator in the Transport and Electrokinetics Laboratory (TEKLab). She received her BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tehran University and her MSc and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Alberta in 2006 and 2010, respectively. Her PhD project involved developing a microfluidic device for fractionation of DNA molecules. She was the recipient of a number of scholarships for her PhD work including NSERC Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarships (CGSD).
