个人简介

A 2010 Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, I have over than ten years of research experience in structural and multi-body dynamics with applications in automotive and aerospace sectors. I am an expert in synthesis of complex mechanical systems and I have extensive background in software development and in particular for numerical integration of equations of motion for multi-body systems and visualisation. The last six years as Research Associate at the Virtual Engineering Centre of the University of Liverpool, my research interests are focusing on aeroelastic analyses of aircraft, uncertainty quantification, surrogate modelling, optimization algorithms, integrated CAD/CAE workflows and cloud and high performance computing. During the last three years, I was the project manager of numerous R&D projects i.e. “Simplified toolkits for Upper Environment & Pillars”, Jaguar Land Rover (2013-2015), “Multi-Disciplinary Design Optimisation of L538 Vehicle for Pedestrian Safety”, Jaguar Land Rover (2012-2013). Over the course of my career, I have received or nominated for a number of awards i.e. two nominations to Annual Jaguar Land Rover Innovista Awards (2016), travel award to attend the Supercomputing Conference 2014 in New Orleans, USA, by EPSRC (2014) and many others. Finally, I hold three years of academic experience, as teaching assistant for under-graduate courses on Newtonian and Analytical dynamics.
