个人简介

I am a Professor of Polymer Science at Aston University and the Head of the Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry Subject Group. I specialise in the modification, oxidation and stabilisation of polymers and antioxidant chemistry, have published extensively having been involved in this field for over 35 years. Most of my professional career has been spent at Aston University where I lead the Polymer Processing and Performance, PPP, Research Unit and Head the Polymer and Advanced Materials Research Group. I am the President of a PAN-European Society on the ‘Modification Degradation and Stabilisation of Polymers, MoDeSt’, and the Chairperson of the biennial Conferences ‘Polymer Degradation Discussion Group, PDDG’, affiliated to the Macro Group of the Royal Society of Chemistry, held in different parts of Europe
