My research interests are primarily in the exploration of new chemical and biochemical detection methods based on electrochemical reactions. As a result, the research activity is at the boundary of analytical chemistry and electrochemistry. The current focus is on exploration of the analytical utility of electrochemistry at liquid-liquid (or oil-water) interfaces. This area of investigation offers a lot of potential for label-free detection methods and sensor devices.
