个人简介
1979.12～1993.08：毕业于宁夏大学农学院并留校任教（期间于1981～1992年分别在全国森林昆虫分类班、沈阳农业大学植保系、北京农业大学昆虫系、西北高师培训中心学习或做高级访问学者, 分别师从著名昆虫学家何振昌、杨集昆和郑哲民教授, 攻读昆虫学硕士研究生学位课程）
1993.09～1995.07：在陕西师范大学攻读博士研究生并获得理学博士学位
1995.08～1996.08：在宁夏大学农学院任教
1996.09～今：在河北大学生命科学学院任教

研究领域
长期致力于昆虫系统学与多样性领域的研究，包括物种起源分化、形态进化、分子进化、防御腺进化、昆虫分泌物化学、区系分布格局与适应性、种系发生和生物地理学等，以及家蝇工程生态养殖和昆虫甲壳素及其衍生物研发等。
