· 吸附分离功能纤维的设计及制备;主要开展离子交换纤维、螯合纤维、活性炭纤维的结构设计和制备。开发该类材料在分离提纯、医药、分子识别等方面的应用。 · 纳米孔结构炭功能材料;主要开展活性炭纤维、复合型纤维状活性炭材料的结构设计、表面改性及其功能化研究。负载纳米金属及氧化物的多孔碳材料的设计和制备;其它新型多孔碳材料的开发。 · 能源材料;主要开展碳材料及其在燃料电池中的应用研究;多孔碳材料在贮氢方面的研究。 · 环境净化系统及工程应用开发;主要开展功能纤维及多孔碳材料在污水处理及饮水净化等方面的应用研究; · 多孔碳材料在大气净化及有机溶剂回收方面的应用研究; · 多孔碳材料在贵金属提取或回收方面的应用研究; · 多孔碳材料对放射性物质的吸附及其应用研究。 · 温室气体减排技术及材料。主要开展二氧化碳大规模富集吸附材料的设计、制备和吸附技术的研究。
