收稿范围

Advances in Wound Care rapidly shares research from bench to bedside, with wound care applications for burns, major trauma, blast injuries, surgery, and diabetic ulcers. The Journal provides a critical, peer-reviewed forum for the field of tissue injury and repair, with an emphasis on acute and chronic wounds.

Advances in Wound Care reports on developments in wound care, translational sciences and technology development.  Non-healing acute and chronic wounds as well as burn and trauma form a major focus of the journal.

As a publication of the national Wound Healing Society (WHS), Advances in Wound Care is the top-ranked (by impact factor) journal in the field of wound care. By reporting on scientific innovations that are relevant to improved delivery of care, the journal brings biomedical researchers, healthcare providers and relevant industry leaders to one platform. While the Discovery Express and Technology Advances categories represent original research reports, critical reviews and comprehensive invited reviews are aimed at top experts through a critical evaluation of multidisciplinary topics relevant to wound care. News & Views articles highlight new developments in the community and present expert perspectives.

Advances in Wound Care coverage includes:

  • Skin bioengineering
  • Skin and tissue regeneration
  • Acute, chronic, and complex wounds
  • Dressings
  • Anti-scar strategies
  • Inflammation
  • Burns and healing
  • Biofilm
  • Oxygen and angiogenesis
  • Critical limb ischemia
  • Military wound care
  • New devices and technologies

Advances in Wound Care is under the editorial leadership of Editor-in-Chief Chandan K. Sen, PhD, Indiana University School of Medicine, and other leading investigators.
