Shoutao Zhang Ph.D., Associate Professor, Master Tutor Condensed Matter Computation and Design Team, Northeast Normal University
Shoutao Zhang is an Associate Professor at School of Physics, Northeast Normal University, China. He received a B.S. in physics from Harbin Normal University in 2011. Subsequently, he obtained his Ph.D. in condensed physics from Jilin University in 2016. After that, he spent two years and worked as a postdoc in Northeast Normal University. He then stayed on to teach at the university. He has long been engaged in theoretical research on the structural design, properties prediction, and regulation of physical properties of novel functional materials. He published 60+ papers in international prestigious scientific journals. He has 2500+ citations and 25 h-index on Google Scholar. As a corresponding or first author, he published 30 papers in top journals of physics, chemistry, and materials science, including PRL, PRB, CPL, JACS, JPCL, JMCA, etc. Excellent research works are highlighted by international scientific media. He also serves as a reviewer for several internationally renowned journals.
