Yulei Zhao

Dr. Yulei Zhao is a Young Principal Investigator and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Fudan University. She is a recipient of the National High-Level Overseas Talent Introduction Program and a Xianghui Young Scholar.
She earned her Ph.D. in Pathology and Molecular Medicine from Canada in 2016 and conducted research at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in the United States from 2018 to 2022. In December 2022, she joined the Center for Frontier Innovation and the Department of Cellular and Genetic Medicine at the School of Basic Medical Sciences, Fudan University.
Dr. Zhao has received numerous awards from China, the United States, and Canada, including the Overseas Outstanding Young Scholar Award, the National Award for Outstanding Self-Financed International Students, the Charles H. Revson Senior Fellowship in Biomedical Science (USA), and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Research Competition Gold Award, etc.
