Prof.
School of Physics and Electronics, Shandong Normal University
Zhen Xie, male, born in February 1990, professor at Shandong Normal University. He obtained dual doctoral degrees in Theoretical Chemistry from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden and in Atomic and Molecular Physics from Shandong Normal University in 2019. Dr. Xie's research focuses on the fundamental theoretical study of molecular photonics under localized optical fields. He has established a theoretical framework for localized field spectroscopy, which describes light fields focused to the nanoscale as excitation sources, thereby advancing the ability of scanning Raman Ångström-resolution microscopy to characterize molecular properties. His theoretical methods have been recognized by experimental studies published in Nature, Science, and other prestigious journals, and he has been invited to present over ten reports at international and domestic conferences in related fields.
Dr. Xie serves as a Youth Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Shandong Normal University (Natural Science Edition) and is a member of the Shandong Provincial High-Level Talent Development Promotion Association. He has published more than 30 academic papers in SCI journals such as Journal of the American Chemical Society, Physical Review Applied, Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, and Nanoscale. He has also led two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, along with projects supported by the Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation for Young Scholars, the Taishan Scholars Expert Program, and the Open Fund of the Key Laboratory of Computational Materials Science of the Ministry of Education.
