Xiaohui Zhao Principle Investigator Chemical Biology of Host-Microbe Molecular Interactions
Xiaohui Zhao Ph.D., ZJU100 Young Professor at the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, holds joint appointments at the Jinhua Institute of Zhejiang University, and State Key Laboratory of Advanced Drug Delivery and Release Systems, Zhejiang University. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Shandong University and his Master's degree from the State Key Laboratory of Elemento-organic Chemistry at Nankai University under the supervision of Professor Zhen Xi. He earned his Doctor's degree under the joint mentorship of Professors Andreas Marx and Martin Scheffner at the University of Konstanz in Germany. He did postdoctoral research at the Rockefeller University and The Scripps Research Institute in the USA, together with Professor Howard C. Hang. He was awarded a DAAD predoctoral fellowship and has published multiple articles in journals such as Nature Chemical Biology and Angewandte Chemie.
