Lin Sun
Associate Professor
Lin Sun, Associate Professor, holds a Doctor of Science degree and completed postdoctoral research at Nanjing University. He is a Senior Member of the Chinese Chemical Society, and a Master's Supervisor at Nanjing University, Changzhou University, and Yancheng Institute of Technology. Dr. Sun is listed in the World's Top 2% Scientists 2025. His honors include Excellent Young Backbone Teacher of Jiangsu Province "Blue Project" (2023), Technology Vice President of Jiangsu Province High-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Introduction Program (2018, 2023), and "2311" High-Level Talent of Yancheng Institute of Technology. He has presided over multiple projects at or above the provincial and ministerial levels, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Special Project for Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality. His main research direction focuses on the design, synthesis, and mechanism study of electrode materials for secondary batteries. He has published over 70 SCI papers in internationally renowned journals including Chemical Society Reviews, Advanced Functional Materials, Energy Storage Materials, Small, and Nano Research, with a total of more than 3,000 citations and an H-index of 30.
