Duanping Sun Full Professor Center for Drug Research and Development, Guangdong Pharmaceutical University
Duanping Sun received his BS degree in pharmacy from Shandong First Medical University in 2011 and PhD degree in pharmaceutical analysis from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2016. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as a Research Associate in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Sun Yat-Sen University. In 2018, he joined the Center for Drug Research and Development at Guangdong Pharmaceutical University as an Associate Professor. Since 2024, he has been employed as a Full Professor at Guangdong Pharmaceutical University. His current research interests focus on electrochemical/electrochemiluminescence biosensors and drug evaluation. He serves as a Young Editor of Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis and a Topic Editor of Biosensors. Dr. Sun has published more than 70 papers in peer-reviewed SCI journals (with ~2700 citations and H-index of 29). He received the award of World's Top 0.5% Scholars by ScholarGPS (2023), World's Top 2% Scientists by Elsevier (2020-2023), Outstanding Young Editor for Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis (2022-2023), Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing for Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis (2022), Emerging Investigators for New Journal of Chemistry (2021), and Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing for Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical (2018).
