Song Zhenjun, a member of the Communist Party of China and native of Zhoukou, Henan Province, earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Nankai University in 2018 under the supervision of Professor Peng Cheng, a Chang Jiang Scholar and recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the School of Medicine and Chemical Engineering, Taizhou University. His research primarily focuses on theoretical computational studies of heterogeneous catalytic mechanisms in solid oxide materials, metal-based composite materials, and functional coordination materials. He teaches courses including University Chemistry, Medical Chemistry, and Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry. Professor Song has published over 20 first/corresponding-author SCI papers in renowned journals such as EES (IF=32.4), Angew. Chem. (IF=16.1), Small (IF=13.0), Int. J. Hydrogen Energ. (IF=8.1), Appl. Surf. Sci. (IF=6.3), and Inorg. Chem. Front. (IF=6.1). His honors include being named a High-Level Talent in Urgent Demand for Social Undertakings by the Taizhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, a Huangyan Top 100 Talent by the Huangyan District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, an Advanced Teacher, and an Outstanding Class Advisor at Taizhou University.
