Sheng Zhang Professor Advanced Thermal Hydraulics Laboratory
Dr. Sheng Zhang is a Professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a Research Scientist at the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics. After graduating from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with a doctor's degree, he stayed at the university and served as a Postdoctoral Rellow and Research Investigator (research staff). He has authored/co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed papers. In addition, he serves as the Associate Editor of J. Nucl. Eng. Radiat. Sc. and a Reviewer for several internationally renowned journals, such as Int. J. Heat Mass Tran., Nucl. Eng. Des., Ann. Nucl. Energy, and Prog. Nucl. Energy. Meanwhile, he has served as the Session Chair at international conferences in the field of nuclear energy, such as NURETH and ATH, and delivered over 10 academic reports at various international conferences and seminars. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Nuclear Society.
