Liuyin Ma Associate Professor, Fujian A&F University
Introduction : Dr. Liuyin Ma graduated from Northwest A & F University with a bachelor's degree in 2008 and received his Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky in 2013. He joined Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (FAFU) in 2014 as a an associate professor in Haixia Institute of Science and Technology (School of Future Technology). He is now the PI of Tree mineral nutrients and stress tolerance group at Center of Genomics. Dr. Ma has long been committed to the research of forest nutrient and abiotic stress signaling transduction. His research mainly focusing on the rapid growth species including Eucalyptus and moso bamboo, with the main purpose to deciphering the mineral nutrients basis of fast-growing mechanisms of these two species. He has published donzens of research articles in journals including PNAS, Plant Physiology, Plant Journal, New Phytologist and etc. He also published the book Genetics, Genomics and Breeding of Bamboos as a Co-Editor. He is now a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Forestry Society and an Early Career Editorial Board Member in Forestry Research. He is also an active reviewer for JIPB、New Phytologist、Plant Journal, Bioinformatics, and Briefs in Bioinformatics.
