Nighttime light products and applications

This topic includes the preprocessing of nighttime light data (e.g., DMSP/OLS and VIIRS/DNB), high-level production development, and relevant applications. Studies conducted include 1) stepwise based calibration of DMSP/OLI nighttime light data; 2) harmonizing DMSP/OLS and VIIRS/DNB data; 3) urban extent mapping and light pollution studies using NTL data.
