Gusu Young Professor
Green Catalysis for Waste-to-X Lab
Dr. Yaxuan Jing is a Gusu Young Professor and serves as the Vice President of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association at Nanjing University. He received B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from East China University of Science and Technology (supervisor: Prof. Yanqin Wang). He studied at National University of Singapore as a joint Ph.D. student (supervisor: Prof. Ning Yan). His research is centered around advanced catalysis and green chemistry, with a special focus on the valorization of waste plastics and biomass. He has been recognized in the World’s Top 2% Scientists list and has received more than ten honors, such as the the IChemE&CCST Young Investigator Award, and the Sustainable Development Youth Innovation Award from the Petrochemical Federation. He also served as a young editorial board member for Green Carbon and EcoEnergy journals.
