To welcome Prof. Lukas Goossen to visit us, some of our group had the BBQ with Lukas. He enjoyed a lot of the chinese BBQ, especially the spicy food. He shared many of his own academic experiences, such as his experience as a postdoctoral with Prof. Sharpless in the United States. He encouraged everyone to work hard and play hard. He also shared with everyone the story of Ugi's reaction, because Ugi worked next to his lab during his Ph.D study.
