Recruitment of Young Faculty and Postdoctoral Researchers at Sun Hainan's Research Group, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Nantong University, 2025

Ⅰ. Recruitment requirements:

1.PhD in energy, materials, chemistry, chemical engineering, physics or related fields. Recent graduates or postdoctoral researchers are welcome. Age is generally not more than 32 years old; exceptional candidates can be relaxed to 35 years old.

2. Candidates with research experience in energy-related photo/electro-catalysis, electrosynthesis, electrolyzers and fuel cells, and theoretical catalysis calculations will be given priority.

3. Published more than 6 SCI articles as first author or corresponding author (including at least 3 papers in Zone 1 journals of Chinese Academy of Sciences) or at least 1 article in top-tier journals in the field.

4. Strong independent research ability and good team collaboration spirit.

5. Prior experience in research or study at well-known universities or academic institutions at home and abroad is preferred.

Ⅱ. Benefits:

1. University-hired professors and associate professors are all provincial-level public institution staff members.

2. The compensation package will be implemented according to Nantong University's existing salary structure (with a guaranteed annual income of RMB 180,000-220,000, excluding performance bonuses and outstanding achievement awards, as per the university's corresponding talent policies). Special arrangements will be made for exceptional candidates on a case-by-case basis.

3. Provide excellent office conditions, research platforms, and laboratory facilities.

4. Provide housing subsidies, settlement allowance (300,000-600,000 RMB), and temporary apartments.

5. Living security includes free medical care, children's education, etc.

6. The post-doctoral position offers an annual salary of 150,000-200,000 RMB, a settlement allowance of 300,000 RMB, and a research start-up fund of 40,000 RMB. The research group will provide an additional 300,000 RMB in start-up funding. Successful completion of performance evaluations will lead to a tenure-track faculty position.
