Lei Gao professor biosynthesis & biocatalysis
Prof. Lei Gao earned dual B.Sc. degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Central China Normal University (China) in 2013. He then pursued his Ph.D. under the mentorship of Professor Xiaoguang Lei, focusing on the biosynthesis of natural products. After completing postdoctoral research in the same group, he was appointed as a Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) in 2021 at Peking university. In 2024, he joined Wuhan University to commence his independent research career.
