Yongliang Yang Professor Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Science

Professor, Shanghai General Practice Medicine Center, Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences, Academic Leader. Specially Appointed Professor, Shanghai Yangpu District Mental Health Center. Previously held positions at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dalian University of Technology (Tenured Full Professor). In recent years, has published over 50 papers as corresponding author (including co-author) in prestigious journals such as Nature Medicine. Recent work has been recognized with provincial/ministerial-level Science and Technology Progress Awards, among other honors, and was featured in an article on the official website of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Three innovative Traditional Chinese Medicine products developed in recent years utilizing AI large language models and knowledge graph technology have all obtained institutional preparation approval from medical institutions. Among them, an oncology immunotherapy product has progressed to Phase III clinical research.

Our research interests lie in interdisciplinary fields such as artificial intelligence-driven chronic disease research and AI-driven drug discovery. The team aims to leverage cutting-edge interdisciplinary knowledge and methodologies—particularly AI technology—alongside advanced experimental techniques to pursue the discovery of novel targets, mechanisms, and therapeutic drugs or approaches.
