Solid dosage forms, such as pharmaceutical tablets, still represent the most widespread technology to orally administer active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) to the patient. The Dai Lab will focus on the formulation design, scale-up production and quality prediction of Solid dosage forms. Our research field devote to the digitization of industrial pharmacy (DIP), which are based on the deformation mechanism of bulk particle during process, with the help of experiments and models, through the numerical simulation on multi-level or cross-scale and data-driven, we will build a robust intrinsic relationship among the formulation-process-structure-performance (FPSP) of the dosage forms. Our results will provide a reliable theoretical basis and scientific basis for the R&D of Solid dosage forms. Therefore, our group will be work on some beneficial exploration on those fields: database of excipients physical parameters, industrial numeral model with robustness, new drug delivery system and equipment about Solid dosage forms. In our group, students will be fruitful on the systematic professional knowledge learning, the rigorous scientific thinking training, the strong academic atmosphere nurturing, and the good professional career molding.
