Chao Chen Associate Professor Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua
Associate Professor Chao Chen received his B.S. degree from the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University in 2001 and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University in 2006. In the same year, he was awarded the Humboldt Scholarship to conduct postdoctoral research at university of Munster, Germany. In 2011, he returned to China and joined the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University as an associate professor and doctoral supervisor. He served as the chairman of Youth Salon and deputy director of organic Institute. Dr. Chao Chen has been engaged in organic synthetic chemistry research for a long time. He has published more than 80 SCI papers and applied for and granted 10 patents.
