Tingjuan Gao Professor of Chemistry (Principal Investigator) Azo-enhanced Raman scattering, in situ spectroscopic and electrochemical measurements
Dr. Tingjuan Gao is a full Professor at the School of Chemistry, Central China Normal University. In 2002, she obtained a bachelor's degree from the College of Chemistry at Peking University. In 2008, shen earned a Ph.D. from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Rochester in the United States. From 2008 to 2011, she conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Davis. Since Dr. Gao joined CCNU as a professor, she has been dedicated to teaching core chemistry courses, including Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis, Spectroscopic Analysis, and Principles and Methods of Modern Analytical Instruments. Her research focuses on developing novel spectroscopic methods to enable intramolecular enhanced Raman scattering and high-sensitivity rapid multicolor Raman imaging, as well as applying these new methods in studying environmental interfacial interactions and in situ measuring live-cell physiological processes, by combining with other optoelectronic techniques. Over the past five years, as a corresponding author, Tingjuan Gao has published a series of original research papers in prominent chemistry and environmental journals, including Journal of the American Chemical Society, ACS Central Science, Research, Chemical Science, Analytical Chemistry, and Water Research. She has led three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and as an inventor, has been granted eight domestic and international patents.
