Introduction ： Haitao Lei is currently an associate research fellow in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Shaanxi Normal University. He received his BS (2012) from Lanzhou University and Ph.D. (2017, with Prof. Rui Cao) from Renmin University of China, and did postdoctoral research (2017-2020, with Prof. Rui Cao) at Shaanxi Normal University. His current research focus on the design and development of novel functional metal complexes for energy-related small molecule activation reactions.

Zuozhong Liang    Assoc. Prof.   
Introduction ： Zuozhong Liang is currently an associate research fellow at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Shaanxi Normal University. He received his BS degree (2011) from Qufu Normal University and PhD degree (2016) from Beijing University of Chemical Technology under the supervision of Professor Jian-Feng Chen. In July 2016, he joined Professor Rui Cao's research group. His research interests are the design and development of novel functional nanomaterials for the applications in renewable-energy-related fields.

Xialiang Li    Assoc. Prof.   
Introduction ： As a member of the molecular simulation and solar energy conversion team at Shaanxi Normal University, my main research interests lie on bioinorganic chemistry and catalysis for energy-related small molecule activation reactions. We design and develop a variety of molecular complexes to investigate the basic concepts and mechanisms involved in energy conversion with emphases placed on catalytic small molecule activation, which includes water splitting, oxygen reduction and carbon dioxide reduction reactions. Expertise in synthesis, crystallography, electrochemistry, and many other spectroscopic and physical techniques permits us to study various catalytic systems, obtain valuable insights into the structure-and-activity relationship, and ultimately guide us in the design of new systems with targeted reactivity.
