Shiyong Zhang
Dr. Zhang received a B.S. in applied chemistry from Sichuan University in 2003. After two years M.S. training with Professor Rugang Xie, he started his Ph.D. program under Professor Jingsong You and received a Ph.D. in organic chemistry also from Sichuan University in 2008. Dr. Zhang then began postdoctoral research with Professor Yan Zhao at Iowa State University in February 2009. He joined the faculty at NERCB, Sichuan University as a Professor in January 2013. Dr. Zhang's areas of interest are organic,polymer, materials, pharmaceutical and supramolecular chemistry.
