Undergraduate Research Internship Openings
Research Areas
Our group warmly welcomes undergraduate students interested in organic synthesis, metal catalysis, and natural product total synthesis to join us for research internships!
We are seeking highly motivated students with backgrounds in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields (preferably second- or third-year students) to participate in cutting-edge research projects currently underway in our group. Outstanding interns will be given priority consideration for future Master's or PhD admissions within the group.
Internship Training and Support:
Each intern will be paired with a PhD student or postdoc for close supervision, receiving comprehensive training in:
Laboratory techniques in organic synthesis
Literature reading and critical analysis
Scientific thinking and project collaboration
Basic academic writing skills
Outstanding interns may have opportunities to:
Participate in national or provincial-level research projects
Be included as co-authors in academic publications
Attend domestic or international academic conferences
Internship duration can be arranged flexibly according to availability, with a minimum suggested commitment of three months.
Requirements:
Strong passion for scientific research, responsibility, and self-motivation;
Basic laboratory skills in organic chemistry or completion of relevant coursework;
Ability to dedicate a stable amount of time weekly to research activities.
