personal profile

Yali Zhang, female, Associate Professor, Master Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, School of Medicine, Nantong University, Nantong, China, graduated from Zhejiang University in 2012 with a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and will conduct research on the application of phosphorylated proteomics to disease mechanism as a visiting scholar in the group of Prof. Weiguo Tao at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Purdue University, USA, from 2019 to 2020. She has presided over one national, one provincial and one municipal project, and published 10 SCI research papers as the first author or corresponding author.

Specialised Research Area:

To study the effect of phosphorylation level of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) regulatory subunit B on the structure and biological function of PP2A and its role in the induction of hepatotoxicity and neurotoxicity by exogenous substances using PP2A as a target protein.
