Dr. Cui has long been dedicated to the development of molecular imaging probes for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases and cancers. To date, dozens of probes have passed ethical reviews at multiple hospitals and entered investigator-initiated trials (IITs), with over a thousand human imaging studies completed. Among them, the Aβ-targeted PET diagnostic drug [¹⁸F]Florbetazine has received Class I new drug clinical approval in China and entered Phase III clinical trials, providing an important tool for the early and accurate diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
