个人简介

Professor Guoxiu Wang is the Director of the Centre for Clean Energy Technology and a Distinguished Professor (2012-Present) in the School of Mathematical & Physical Sciences, Faculty of Science, at University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. He has won a large number of external research grants. He has published over 600 refereed journal papers, including Nature Energy, Nature Catalysis, Nature Communications, Nature Nanotechnology, J. Am. Chem. Soc, Angew Chem Int Ed, Advanced Materials, Science Advances, Nano Letters, Chemical Society Reviews and delivered 100 invited talks worldwide. Wang's publications have attracted over 60000/70000 citations with an H-index of 130/149 (Web of Science/Google Scholar). He has received many awards and recognitions for his research accomplishments, some of which include: 2017 Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC); 2018 Fellow of International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE); 2020 Fellow of European Academy of Sciences. He was listed as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics for 6 years consecutively in 2018-2023. 2018, 2022 & 2023 in multiple fields including Chemistry, Materials Science.

Professor Wang is an expert in materials chemistry, electrochemistry, energy storage and conversion, and battery technologies. His research interests include lithium-ion batteries, lithium-air batteries, sodium-ion batteries, lithium-sulfur batteries, supercapacitors, hydrogen storage materials, graphene and MXenes.
