个人简介
阿瓦罗·门德斯，伦敦政治经济学院全球南方研究中心主任，伦敦政治经济学院外交和战略研究中心学术主任。他是复旦大学全球公共政策研究院的科技部高端外国专家、中国和国际发展客座教授。
门德斯教授还是日内瓦安全政策中心的副会员和巴黎政治学院拉丁美洲和加勒比地区政治观察的国际顾问委员会成员。他还在伦敦政治经济学院和巴黎政治学院担任教职。他曾多次获得教学奖项，如2003-2004年伦敦政治经济学院国际关系系教学奖等，以表彰他在伦敦政治经济学院国际关系方面的教学工作。
门德斯教授著作丰富，主要包括《哥伦比亚机构与美国外交政策的制定：基于邀请的干预》(Routledge, 2017)、《中拉轴心：新兴市场及其在全球化世界中的作用》(Palgrave, 2018)、《新发展援助：新兴经济与发展援助新格局》(Palgrave, 2020)、《中拉关系的政治经济学：亚投行成员》(Palgrave, 2020)、《中国和拉美：发展、机构和地缘政治》(Bloomsbury,2023)等。
他也是伦敦政治经济学院Millennium – Journal of International Studies的前编辑。他曾在Geopolitics, Global Policy, Asia Business & Management, Sustainability, Journal of Business Research, The China Journal, Asia Pacific Business Review, Finance Research Letters, Foreign Policy Analysis等期刊上发表文章。
