Instructions on how to access the conference 

Quantum 2020 will be hosted on the Underline platform

All registered delegates will receive a digital ticket in an email from Underline. Simply follow the instructions in the Underline email to create a password and gain access to join the sessions and watch the talks throughout the four days of the event. 

Attendees from China:

If you are experiencing problems in viewing the live talks on Underline, you can view all the main stage talks on Koushare at https://www.koushare.com/cps-p. The oral sessions and posters can all be viewed on the Underline platform.

The pre-recorded talks and posters have been added to the Underline platform for you to view at your leisure in advance of Quantum 2020 going live from Monday 19 October. Just log in to start exploring. 

Programme timings 

Please note that the times of the sessions and talks listed in the programme are in China Standard Time, meaning that some talks will begin on the evening of Sunday 18 October for delegates based in the US. 

The Institute of Physics and IOP Publishing, in partnership with the Chinese Physical Society (CPS) and the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) are proud to bring together the international quantum science community online for this inaugural conference.

Early career and leading researchers from universities, industry and government worldwide will come together to share, learn and collaborate on the latest research and emerging areas of high interest across quantum science and technology. The broad themes covered by Quantum 2020 will include:

  • Quantum communication;
  • Quantum computing and quantum simulation;
  • Quantum sensing, metrology and imaging;
  • Quantum information theory, software and algorithms;
  • Quantum foundations;
  • Quantum technology in industry.

The four-day event will feature talks from world-renowned scientists, interactive poster sessions and two exciting panel discussions on the themes of Quantum Technology in Industry and Quantum Technology Programmes Around the World.
