Correction to: Nature Cell Biology https://doi.org/10.1038/ncb3429. Published online 7 November 2016.
The authors noticed that two errors were introduced in the figures in the last stages of figure preparation, before publication. They apologize for these mistakes, which do not affect the conclusions of the experiments shown in these figures.
The published Figure 5g included images also shown in Supplementary Figure 3g. These micrographs were placed in Figure 5g by mistake, and the correct images for the conditions R132H IDH1 xenografts—β1 WT stained for HIF1α/PI and hydroxyprobe/PI are now shown in this correction notice (Fig. 1 below).
Supplementary Figure 7 shows full scans of key blots. The source blots for Figure 5f shown in Supplementary Figure 7 had a labelling mistake: in the blots for total FAK and β-actin, the labels for β1 V737N and β1 WT were incorrectly inverted. The source blots are the raw images acquired by the authors; to prepare panel 5f, the authors mirrored the gels but did not adjust the labelling accordingly, introducing this error. The labels on both total FAK and β-actin gels have been corrected in the full gel images shown in this notice (Fig. 2 below).
