Abstract
A special interferometer-train metering device has been developed, manufactured and tested. Аn interferometric X-Ray method for determination of the train length is proposed. It has been proven that the interference pattern disappears when the path difference between the superimposing waves becomes greater than the length of the X-ray monochromatic radiation train. The limit of disappearance of the interference pattern is determined depending on the value of the path difference. The X-ray train length is found, which is close to the value determined theoretically.
