Lukas completed his undergraduate studies at LMU Munich, Germany, with extra research internships at the University of California, Berkeley, and Bayer Pharmaceuticals. In his PhD with Oliver Thorn-Seshold (LMU), he is developing chemical tools by rational reactivity-based design to visualize, modulate, and exploit cellular oxidoreductase activity in vivo. Outside the lab, Lukas is passionate about mountaineering, football, and basketball and obsesses about vectorial graphics and Pokémon.
