Abstract

The false flower beetle Cyrtanaspis kerneggeri Perkovsky et Odnosum sp. nov. is described from Baltic amber. The new species is similar to the extant C. phalerata, from which it differs in the absence of a hair pattern on the elytra and pronotum, in the subsecuriform last palpomere, and the shape of antennomeres; it differs from C. sauteri in the elytral shape.
