Abstract

The change in the viscosity of a reaction mixture in the process of polystyrene synthesis and the possibility of controlling it in the course of polymerization have been studied. A laboratory reactor is used in this study, and the plots meeting our expectations are obtained for the change in the reactor stirrer rotation speed and output adjustable speed drive signal. An adequate fuzzy viscosity change model is created for use in the control system.
