Action is needed to eliminate waste in the health system if the NHS is to make its contribution to global efforts to combat climate change, say health professionals in Scotland.
The Academy of Medical Royal Colleges and Faculties in Scotland called for greater efforts to build a greener health system, in a statement published in advance of the COP26 United Nations climate change conference opening in Glasgow on 31 October.1 …
