Abstract

Using the approach offered by quantum speed limit, we show that geometric measure of multipartite entanglement for pure states [T.-C. Wei and P. M. Goldbart, Phys. Rev. A 68, 042307 (2003)] can be interpreted as the minimal time necessary to unitarily evolve a given quantum state to a separable one.
