Abstract

We provide a nomenclatural treatment of accepted names published in the genus Mollia Mart. and their synonyms, including the citation of protologues and types for 31 infrageneric names. The synonymies follow the most recent taxonomic revision of the genus, with some modifications. In total, we treat 17 species of Mollia, one of which, M. lepidota, is divided into four subspecies. Lectotypes are designated for thirteen names.
