The erratum corrects an author affiliation.

This article [J. Biomed. Opt. 26(7), 077001 (2021) doi: 10.1117/1.JBO.26.7.077001] was originally published on 21 July 2021 with erroneous affiliation listed for Tomasz Zatoński. The correct affiliation is Wroclaw Medical University, Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Wroclaw, Poland.

The error was corrected, and the article was republished on 22 July 2021.
