Energy-Saving Technology for Irisation of Glass Articles

  • Published:
Glass and Ceramics Aims and scope Submit manuscript

An energy-saving technology for irisation of glass articles by using a high-temperature plasma torch was developed. The effect of the outflow of the plasma-forming gas on the intensity of heating of the glass was investigated. An installation for irisation of glassware was developed. The optimal process parameters of the irisation of glass articles were determined.
