Abstract

Binder-free iron- and nickel-containing micro-, meso-, and macroporous zeolites FeHY and NiHY were found to effectively catalyze Knoevenagel condensation of diamantan-3-one with malononitrile, methyl cyanoacetate, and ethyl cyanoacetate at 40°C (5 h) with 94–98% yield.
