Turning of Composites Based on Thermally Expanded Graphite

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The influence of the turning parameters on the surface roughness of composites based on thermally expanded graphite is considered. The dependence of the cutting force on the turning parameters is determined. A formula is proposed for the cutting force on composites based on thermally expanded graphite as a function of the selected machining conditions.
