Abstract

The problem of polarizability of a cylindrical resistive dipole in a quasistatic field is solved taking into account the skin effect. For the case of a weak skin effect, it is shown that the polarizability of the dipole differs significantly from the polarizability of an ellipsoid comparable to the dipole. Calculations of the effective dielectric constant of composites with cylindrical and ellipsoidal inclusions are carried out. Comparison of calculation results with experimental data is presented.
